Hero Siege Leveling Route: From Chaos Towers to Colossal Chests

Hero Siege Leveling Route: From Chaos Towers to Colossal Chests

Reaching Level 100 in Hero Siege is only the beginning of the real progression grind. After hitting the level cap, your next goal is to build Hero Levels while improving your gear and unlocking the right Ether Tree upgrades. The most efficient route changes as your character becomes stronger, so knowing when to move from Chaos Towers to Colossal Chest farming can save a lot of time.

Level 100: Start With Chaos Towers

Chaos Towers are an excellent transition activity immediately after reaching Level 100. At this stage, your character may not have enough Ether Points to unlock the upgrades needed for efficient Colossal Chest farming. Instead of forcing difficult endgame content, use Chaos Towers to strengthen your character and collect additional experience.

The main advantage is simple: Chaos Towers can provide dense enemy groups and Bloating enemies that drop large amounts of experience orbs. This makes them particularly useful while your character is still building its first endgame setup.

Focus on fast clears rather than perfect loot collection. Your goal at this point is to gain enough progression to unlock the Ether Tree upgrades that will eventually make Colossal Chest farming much more efficient.

When Should You Switch to Ready to Pop?

The major turning point comes when you can unlock Ready to Pop. This Ether Tree upgrade requires 17 Ether Points and changes the way you should approach experience farming.

Once Ready to Pop is available, there is usually little reason to keep spending most of your time in Chaos Towers. Instead, start building a dedicated Colossal Chest farming route. You can still return to Chaos Towers if your character struggles to survive or clear the recommended maps, but they should gradually become a backup activity rather than your main source of progression.

This is also a good time to review your Hero Siege Gold spending. Avoid wasting resources on small upgrades that will quickly be replaced. Prioritize improvements that increase clear speed, survivability, or your ability to farm higher-value content consistently.

Early Hero Levels: King’s Garden

For the first stage of Colossal Chest farming, King’s Garden is a reliable choice. Its layout is relatively manageable, making it easier for characters that have only recently transitioned into the new farming strategy.

The basic loop is straightforward:

  • Enter the map and search for the Colossal Chest.
  • Trigger the chest event once you find it.
  • Gather the Bloating enemies instead of wandering through the entire zone.
  • Clear the event quickly and collect the experience orbs.
  • Leave the map and reset for another run.

The key is to avoid turning every run into a full map clear. Extra enemies and side areas are only worth doing when they add meaningful experience or useful drops without slowing down the cycle.

Stronger Hero Levels: Move to Misty Swamp

As your build becomes stronger, Misty Swamp becomes a more attractive farming location. The area can offer excellent experience density, but its enemies are also more dangerous. If your character can clear the event quickly without frequent deaths, the faster experience rate can make the move worthwhile.

At this stage, your Hero Siege Items should be focused on clear speed and consistency rather than simply having the highest theoretical stats. Skill bonuses, cooldown reduction, movement speed, defensive stats, and damage that directly improves your farming rotation can all have a major impact on experience gained per hour.

There is no single farming location that remains perfect throughout the entire progression. Chaos Towers are valuable because they bridge the gap between Level 100 and the Ether Tree setup. Ready to Pop marks the point where Colossal Chest farming becomes the priority, while King’s Garden provides a safer starting point before stronger characters move toward Misty Swamp.

The best strategy is therefore to change your farming route when your character can clear the next stage faster and more consistently. Instead of chasing the hardest content immediately, build around experience per hour, short reset cycles, and reliable clears. That approach will make the climb through Hero Levels much smoother.
